Stage Two Community Consultation has launched for SDC M40 Campus

SDC Capital Partners has launched a second stage of community consultation on its latest plans for SDC M40 Campus, a proposed new data centre campus with supporting energy infrastructure close to the M40 and A40 Oxford Road in Buckinghamshire between Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross.
This will run from Tuesday 15 September, until Tuesday 27 October 2026.
Latest plans have been informed by feedback from the first stage of community consultation, which ran from November 2025 and January 2026, as well as ongoing discussions with relevant statutory bodies and technical stakeholders.
Further Project information is now available on this website. This contains latest plans and visuals, along with detail about our approach to design for the data centre campus, our proposed power strategy, our approach to landscaping and biodiversity, and how we propose to deliver local benefits as well as to reduce potential environmental impacts.
All consultation materials are available to view in the documents section. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Community Consultation Booklet – a summary of latest Project information and visuals
- Visualisations Pack – providing all latest plans and supporting visuals
- Community Consultation Environmental Report – providing more detailed information about the Project
- Stage One feedback summary report – providing information about how feedback from Stage One consultation has been considered

To ensure that members of the public are able to access physical copies of this information, we’ve arranged for printed materials to be made available at different locations in the local area, including Chalfont St Peter Community Library and Farnham Common Community Library.
Local residents and interested community groups will be able to provide feedback up until 23:59 on Tuesday 27 October 2026. This feedback can be submitted in a variety of ways, including:
