Public consultation

Local stakeholders and the community have an important role to play in the planning process.

Our first stage of public consultation ran from 12 November 2025 to 8 January 2026*.

We have held in-person and online events where members of the public have met the project team and provided comments on early draft plans.

We are carefully considering feedback from this consultation, alongside technical and environmental assessments, to help inform the evolution of the proposals.

*We extended the period for this first stage consultation to 11.59pm on Thursday 8 January 2026 (the previous deadline was Wednesday 17 December 2025).

A second stage of public consultation is planned for 2026 when additional information about the project will be available.

Public consultation events

We held three in-person public consultation events in November 2025, which took place in Beaconsfield, Hedgerley and Gerrards Cross. Members of the public met the project team and were able to ask questions and provide written feedback.
